Lesley is Chair of Governors at Fairlawn School. Lesley first qualified as a solicitor and spent several years working as a commercial and property lawyer in private practice and teaching law. She subsequently founded SACO The Serviced Apartment Company an international serviced accommodation business which she sold in 2016. Lesley has lived in Bristol since 1980
Nigel Pickersgill

Nigel is Deputy Chair of Governors at Fairlawn School. He retired from accountants E&Y in 2010 having been a partner in the Bristol and London offices. Nigel is a Governor of Bristol Grammar School and Chair of the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity and Treasurer of Henbury Golf Club. He enjoys playing golf and watching rugby.
Tony Dunhill
Governor
Tony has recently retired following a 39 year career in Non-Destructive Testing at Rolls-Royce developing various science based methods to inspect components for critical flaws. He was instrumental in creating the UK based research centre for NDT, and is an honorary Professor at Nottingham University. In his last two years at Rolls-Royce he was President of his Institute.

Celia lives and teaches in Bristol. She has expertise in Teaching and Curriculum Development.
Richard Wynn-Jones
Governor
Richard is the named safeguarding governor for Fairlawn School. He practiced as a Solicitor first in London then in Bristol. As well as a being a Governor at two Primary Schools Richard is a Trustee at St Monica Trust.
Jen Morgan
Governor
Jen is a chartered management accountant and has worked in Higher Education for over 10 years. She currently works at the University of Bristol heading up the Education Administration Office in Academic Registry. This includes responsibility for the student record, data and reporting, registration and education process improvement. Jen moved to Bristol from Yorkshire in 2015.

Bern is a Year 2 teacher at Fairlawn Primary School. Having carried out a GTP with Somerset SCITT, Bern went on to teach in Somerset for the past 4 years. He is delighted to have joined Fairlawn in September 2017.
Annabelle Morrison
Parent Governor
Annabelle is the parent of a year 1 child and soon-to-be-reception child in September 2020, along with a baby (due for entry in 2023!). She trained as a clinical psychologist and specialised in child and family work. Her particular interests are mental health and holistic child development.
